QuickMat Bake is a lightweight Blender addon that lets you bake procedural materials into standard image textures with minimal setup. Whether you're exporting assets for game engines, sharing your work, or just simplifying complex node setups, QuickMat Bake gets it done in one click.

It supports:

  • Diffuse, Normal, and Roughness map baking
  • Custom texture resolution and output path
  • Automatic setup of a clean lighting environment for consistent bakes
  • Smart light source isolation and world background override (no need to edit your scene)

After baking, it restores your original world and lighting setup — like it was never there.

This addon is especially useful if you:

  • Use procedural materials and need texture output
  • Generate terrains or meshes for export to other engines
  • Need a fast, no-hassle baking tool


Usage Instructions

  1. Select the object with the material you want to bake.
  2. Make sure it has a UV map.
  3. Go to Render > Bake Material To Textures in the top menu.


  4. In the popup window:
    • Set the Output Directory
    • Choose which maps to bake: Diffuse, Normal, and/or Roughness
    • Set texture resolution
  5. Click OK to bake.


  6. The baked textures will be saved to the selected folder as .png files.

The addon will automatically:

  • Disable scene lights and override the world background to ensure clean lighting.
  • Restore everything once baking is finished.

Installation Instructions

  1. Download the .zip file.
  2. In Blender:
    • Open Edit > Preferences > Add-ons
    • Click Install, choose the .zip file, and click Install Add-on
    • Enable the checkbox next to QuickMat Bake
  3. You’ll find it in the Render menu: Render > Bake Material To Textures
